Last week, you got the background on Ray Zinn, the long-time CEO of Micrel--37 years to be exact, and hopefully you got a feel where and how we'll be conducting these conversations. In this installment, Ray and I discuss the importance of doing what you don't like to do, and doing them well, and their importance in your success. We also talked about how you need to be careful when surrounding yourself with smart people, and the need to have a laser-like focus on the needs of your business. Finally, and of paramount importance, is the need to fund the company yourself if at all possible.
