N.A.T. Develops NIB System for Massive MIMO Networks, Scalable Phased Antenna Arrays

N.A.T. has developed a Network in a Box System for Massive MIMO (MMIMO) networks and scalable phased antenna arrays, including multi-antenna transmission remote radio heads (RRH). The N.A.T Network in a Box System provides RF to baseband processing functionality in a compact, flexible system.

The solution, which consists of the NAMC-SDR and NAMC-ODSP modules, can be integrated into N.A.T. system enclosures. This provides a base transceiver station (BTS) infrastructure solution in-a-box.

Proprietary waveforms, in addition to standard and custom firmware, are supported by the system.

The NIB is based on 4G LTE and 3G wireless standards, which give network owners the ability to use commercially available devices, SIM cards, and leverage industry knowledge of the networks for modifications.
