Brno, Czech Republic. Codasip has released the Bk5-64 Berkelium processor, the company’s first 64-bit implementation of the RISC-V instruction set architecture (ISA). Bk5-64 processors are generated using the Codasip Studio customization tool that allows for fast core configuration and optimization.
“By introducing the Bk5-64, Codasip is addressing the need for affordable 64-bit embedded processors, complete with a state-of-the-art LLVM-based software development toolchain with advanced profiling,” says Karel Masařík, founder and CEO of Codasip.
The Bk5-64 processors provide an energy-efficient, high-data-bandwidth offering that complements the Codasip portfolio of RISC-V processors, which span to the ultra-low-power zero-stage Bk1 core.
Berkelium Bk5-64 RISC-V processors will be available in Q4 2017. More information is available at www.codasip.com/risc-v-processors.
