Magnetic sensors let you detect and measure current. That part is obvious. What you may not know is that they can be used to help control apps in your consumer electronics, including PCs, smart phones, and white goods. How does that work? You'll have to listen to this week's Five Minutes With…interview with Michel Desbard, the CEO of Crocus Technology to find out. And Desbard claims that the market for these sensors is huge, especially as the prices fall in conjunction with the rising volumes.
