Vishay Extends TNPW e3 Series of High Stability Thin Film Flat Chip Resistors

Vishay announced the extension of its TNPW e3 series of automotive grade, high stability thin film flat chip resistors.  

The new resistor added to the series features TCR of ± 25 ppm/K with tight tolerances down to ± 0.1 %. It was developed for increased accuracy in automotive, industrial, test and measurement, among other industry sectors.

In terms of stability, the resistor permits a maximum resistance change of ≤ 0.05 % for 1,000 hours at rated power P70.

Per a company press release, the TNPW e3 series is available in 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, and 1210 case sizes, with resistance values from 10 Ω to 3.01 MΩ. Offering superior moisture resistivity (85 °C; 85 % RH), sulfur resistance in accordance to ASTM B 809, and a wide temperature range of -55 °C to +155 °C, the resistors' extremely stable operation withstands even harsh environmental conditions.

The TNPW e3 devices are fitting for processing on automatic SMD assembly systems for automatic soldering.
