Transcend Releases New Series of DDR4-3200 Memory Modules

August 24, 2020 Perry Cohen

Transcend Information announced the release of a series of industrial-grade DDR4-3200 memory modules. The modules, which target 5G networking and intelligent computing at the edge, feature a 3200MHz bandwidth with low latency and power consumption at 1.2V.

With the modules featuring such low power consumption, they consume less power than DDR3, DDR2, and DDR.

Per a company press release, the series includes unbuffered Long-DIMM, unbuffered SO-DIMM, ECC Long-DIMM, ECC SO-DIMM, and registered Long-DIMM. The modules comply with JEDEC specifications and are optimized for Intel, AMD, and ARM processors.

To address the needs of 5G infrastructures, the DDR4-3200 modules have a capacity of 8GB to 32GB and enable over clocked from the core to the edge.

Further, the modules operate at ultra-high transfer speeds of up to 3200MT/s.
