TE Connectivity has developed a high-force termination product line to terminate high-voltage connectors in a compact benchtop format. The HF-20T and HV-20T terminators, along with an advanced high-force modular die platform, can process wires up to 120 mm², with up to 178 kilonewtons, or 20 tons, of crimp force, while delivering variable speed control. A modular die platform allows the use of an array of die sets in holders that can be installed into either machine, with a fine-adjust feature for fast and precise crimp height adjustment.
