Sensata’s Modular Hall-Effect Sensors Offer Over-Molded, Modular Design

The ACW4 and TCW4 hall effect sensors from Sensata Technologies feature an over-molded, modular design that is well-sealed from the environment. The ACW4 Single Turn and TCW4 Multi Turn Absolute Hall Effect Sensors have sensing electronics encased in a thermoplastic polyamide shell while the separate activating magnet is external to the sensor assembly, resulting in a package measuring 50mm in diameter by a maximum 24mm thick.

The IP67-rated sensor serves robotic, industrial, manufacturing, and material-handling applications where dusty or wet conditions are common. A variety of engineered magnet holder accessories and output types are available, and there are no moving parts in contact with each other; eliminating any potential wear or misalignment.
