RS Components will take part in the ‘Electronica Experience’ at this year’s Electronica 2018 from November 13-16 in Hall C6. The company will divulge first-hand technology experience to young attendees, hoping to inspire them to pursue an engineering career. RS Components’ main stand will be located in hall C5, booth 147.

The Experience will feature RS’s Titan II, its 35-ton interactive touring truck, which includes STEM-based educational demos and activities. They will also have a series of First Lego League demonstrations and offering opportunities to play with the Sphero SPRK+ STEAM educational robot.

They will also host a discussion panel called: “Hyperloop: pioneering the future of transportation” on the Discovery stage in Hall C6 on Wednesday, November 14th from 3:15 – 3:45. It will highlight Europe’s most accomplished students who have made it to the final stages of the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition.

“Over many years now, RS has committed itself to an extended program of STEM activities, working in conjunction with educational institutions, businesses, industry bodies and governments, to attract the next generation of talent that will be needed to address the growing skills gap in engineering,” said Mike England, RS’s president EMEA. “We recognize our responsibilities to excite young people in the possibilities offered by electronics and technology, and we strongly support the efforts of the Electronica 2018 organizers and gladly welcome this new initiative.”
