Renesas Releases AE-CLOUD2 LTE IoT Connectivity Kit

Renesas Electronics Synergy?s AE-CLOUD2 LTE IoT Connectivity Kit allows accelerated evaluation, prototyping, and development of Global LTE IoT Cellular Cloud Connected Applications.

Renesas Electronics Synergy’s AE-CLOUD2 LTE IoT Connectivity Kit allows accelerated evaluation, prototyping, and development of Global LTE IoT Cellular Cloud Connected Applications using the Synergy Platform. 

The AE-CLOUD2 kit:

  • Helps developers connect IoT sensor devices to cloud services using IoT protocols such as Cat M1 and Cat NB1 (NB-IoT)
  • Is conducive for connecting IoT devices and sensors to 4G LTE Cellular Networks globally
  • Is based on the S5D9 Microcontroller, an Arm Cortex-M4 Core MCU with Floating Point Unit (FPU)
  • Supports Cat-M1, Cat-NB1, GSM/GPRS, as well as GPS
  • Features global certification including FCC (US), PTCRB (US), Instituto Federal de Tele Comunicaciones (Mexico), CE marking (EU), Radio and Telecom approval (Japan), Info-communications Media Development Authority (Singapore), China Compulsory Certificate (China), as well as other mobile carrier certifications
  • Has a modular design
