Posifa Technologies Releases New Air Flow Sensors for Respiratory Care

Posifa Technologies announced the release of its new PMF8300 series of mass air flow sensors. The sensors were developed for use in respiratory and medical applications.

Posifa Technologies announced the release of its new PMF8300 series of mass air flow sensors. The sensors were developed for use in respiratory and medical applications. According to the company, the PMF8300 series offers better accuracy, repeatability, and signal-to-noise performance compared to its previous solutions.

The new solutions measures flow rates from 15 SLM (PMF8315) to 100 SLM (PMF8399). Further, its response times of 5ms operates at a -40 °C to +85 °C temperature range. The series of devices is able to provide both analog and digital I²C outputs.

Posifa said in a press release that it’s offering cost-effective upgrade path for new equipment designs while maintaining a supply of previous-generation solutions like the PMF4000, PMF2000, PMFc720, and PMFc40000 series of existing products.
