Panasonic Industry Europe added a long-life surface mount type series to its product line of OS-CON Conductive Polymer-Aluminum-Solid Capacitors. Available with a rated voltage of 2.5VDC, 6.3VDC and 16VDC, SVPT products offer capacitance values from 100µF up to 560µF, with low ESR characteristics (15-24mΩ max.). The halogen-free solid-electrolyte components are able to withstand +105°C for up to 20,000 hours, with improved noise reduction capability and frequency characteristics, a long life span, and ESR values with little change, even at low temperatures.
