Littelfuse Resettable Overcurrent Protection PPTCs Equip Small Surface-Mount Form Factor for High-Voltage Consumer Electronics

Key features of the zeptoSMDC PPTCs include a small 0201 surface-mount package and the ability to reset to normal operation once a fault has cleared.

Littelfuse has released the PolySwitch zeptoSMDC series of polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) devices, which offer overcurrent and overvoltage protection for the signal lines of fuel gauges and lithium-ion battery pack ICs used in high-voltage (13 VDC) applications.

Key features of the zeptoSMDC PPTCs include a small 0201 surface-mount package and the ability to reset to normal operation once a fault has cleared. The resettable over-current protection devices are suitable for a range of consumer electronics applications.

zeptoSMDC PPTCs are available in tape and reel formats in quantities of 15,000. More information is available at www.littelfuse.com/products/polyswitch-resettable-ptcs/surface-mount/zeptosmdc.aspx.
