C2A Security and NXP Join Forces on Cybersecurity for Connected and Automated Vehicles

C2A?s combined solution with NXP addresses demand for ?iron-clad? perimeter cybersecurity protection for vehicle OEMs.

C2A Security and NXP are working together on an automotive security solution that will leverage NXP Semiconductors’ secure CAN (Controller Area Network) transceivers.

It is designed to help automotive OEMs overcome sophisticated cyberattacks by combining C2A’s cybersecurity software and NXP’s secure CAN transceivers.

The new solution includes:

·         NXP's Secure CAN Transceiver – identifies and prevents malicious activity on the vehicle’s CAN bus

·         C2A’s Stamper, a decentralized firewall for the CAN bus – adds extra security layer for CAN bus communication

·         C2A’s SecMon Intrusion Detection and Prevention Software (IDPS) – identifies possible malicious activity with machine learning, then leverages in-vehicle SOC to trigger an appropriate response

C2A Security will be appearing at IAA 2019 in Hall 5 Booth 30B to exhibit their comprehensive security solution.
