Avatar Integrated Systems announced that its Aprisa and Apogee product design team was named a 2018 Arm TechCon Innovation Award finalist for design team of the year. They will be demonstrating their new products at Arm TechCon October 16-18 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA in booth #827.
Their new architecture was introduced in September 2018 and will complement its Aprisa and Apogee solutions providing a breakthrough detailed-route-centric place-and-route architecture in anticipation of new challenges facing designs at 16nm and below process nodes.
This will enable efficient and frequent detailed route layers, patterns, congestions, pin-access, and the like to be available throughout the place-and-route flow, significantly reducing the number of place-and-route iterations with fast design closure while achieving better design quality with higher performance, lower power, and smaller die size.
“We are honored to be nominated as one of the two finalists in the Arm TechCon Innovation Awards,” said Dr. Ping-San Tzeng, chief technology officer at Avatar Integrated Systems. “The team is grateful to be recognized for their innovation and hard work. We are committed to [providing] the world’s best place-and-route technology to designers as they face design challenges at lower process nodes.”
The Arm TechCon Innovation Awards program recognizes the most inventive Arm-based technologies to have generated new applications in systems design. The finalists’ will be showcasing their new technologies at Arm TechCon Wednesday October 17 at 3:30 p.m. They will announce the winners at 5:00 p.m. in the expo theater.
