AAEON Honored with Two COMPUTEX d&i Awards

AAEON is the only IPC manufacturer to receive the honor in 2019, marking the third year in a row AAEON has received the COMPUTEX d&i Award. The awards recognized the BOXER-8110AI embedded AI edge computing system and the innovative LoRa AIOT Network Solutions.

The COMPUTEX d&i Awards are recognized by the Information Communication Technology industry as a prestigious award promoting and highlighting innovation and driving R&D breakthroughs in the technology field from industry giants to independent up-and-coming developers. Organized by the Taiwan External Trade and Development Council (TAITRA) and the Industrial Technology Research Institute, the COMPUTEX d&i Awards have been held for the past 12 years ahead of COMPUTEX Taipei, Asia's largest IT trade fair.

With the introduction of our AIOT-ILND01 LoRa Node, AAEON is able to provide end-to-end solutions for independent vendors and network integrators to build wireless edge networks designed for AIOT and LoRa functions. The BOXER-8110AI is part of the innovative family of compact embedded AI Edge computers from AAEON powered by the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 module. The BOXER-8110AI supports AI frameworks including Tensorflow, Caffe2, and MXNet, and users can install their own AI inference software onto the device. The BOXER-8110AI features a compact and rugged design, fan-less aluminum chassis and wide operating temperature range, allowing it to deploy anywhere AI edge computing is needed.

COMPUTEX Taipei 2019 will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from May 28th through June 1st.
