Gathering Most Heavyweight Industrial Robot Brands

The world’s top 20 industrial robot brands will gather at the show for the first time, led by four leading brands ABB, KUKA, YASKAWA, and FANUC (Century Trading, serving as agent), with other brands including EPSON, OMRON, KAWASAKI, and DENSO from Japan; Universal Robots, STÄUBLI and COMAU (Pro Machinery, as agent) from Europe; and Taiwan robot makers such as HIWIN TECHNOLOGIES, TOYO AUTOMATION, TECHMAN ROBOT, and DELTA ELECTRONICS. They are expected to present stunningly versatile robotic solutions and technologies.

Major Players Ready to Launch New Offerings

In line with the robust development of the Taiwan market, exhibitors are racing to unveil new products and technologies, significantly driving the upgrades of Taiwan industries. First-time exhibitor VOITH ROBOTICS, an internationally renowned maker from Germany, will showcase, for the first time in Asia, its “PANDA ROBOT”, a winner of German Future Prize, at the show. TECHMAN ROBOT will demonstrate robot series with high loading capacities. Other exhibitors including SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC and WAGO CONTACT, OPTO ENGINEERING, ROBOTECH, and OPTICSER will also stage on-site presentations of new products.

Top IPC and Sensor Brands Show Smart Manufacturing Prowess

Leading industrial PC (IPC) makers ADVENTECH, Ennoconn, Lanner Electronics and SIEMENS will also demonstrate their prowess at the show. Winmate (first-timers) and AXIOMTEK will display IoT and smart plant monitoring technologies and platforms. Such famous sensor and controller makers KEYENCE TAIWAN, SICK TAIWAN, COGNEX, IFM ELECTRONIC and P+F will also present live demonstrations about how sensors can work their way through IoT operations to fulfill the crucial digital monitoring mission.

As part of key automation elements, linear transmission components continue to sustain their powerful momentum, as globally iconic makers including HIWIN, THK, NSK, ABBA, igus Taiwan, TBI Motion, and CHIEFTEK PRECISION (CPC) will all perform on the same stage, highlighting their glamor as hidden automation heroes through new-product presentations and booth activities.

Create the Future by Integrating Virtuality and Reality, Enjoy Interactive Experience and Bring Good Gifts Home

Incorporating manufacturing data into system integration is a crucial aspect in promoting Industry 4.0. Global leading brands including SOLOMON, BOSCH REXOTH, BALLUFF, PILZ, MOXA, and ROVISYS will exhibit smart automation solutions. First-time exhibitor ECAVA will launch brand-new visualized graphic control players, and host a free lecture. Another first-timer Eggplant, from the United Kingdom, will arrange a lucky-draw activity, allowing lucky show-goers to take a “drone” home.

Don’t Miss Eye-catching Activities at Brand-new Germany Pavilion

Entering its third edition, the Germany Pavilion will see expanded exhibition space this year for German Trade Office Taipei and 16 renowned German companies to jointly showcase their latest products and technologies. Such prestigious German automation and technical solutions brands as KUKA, HARTING, BALLUFF and SIEMENS will jointly host the “Points Collection” activity designed to help visitors deeply understand Industry 4.0 and the essences of Germany’s newly emerging technologies. In order to pump up the on-site atmosphere for visitors, the German Trade Office Taipei will host a happy beer time on August 3 for visitors to enjoy a cool drink in the summer.

Tens of Man-Machine Interaction Demonstrations to Enhance Experience in Real Smart Manufacturing Plant

This year, many major exhibitors will present multiple demonstration activities to rivet attention from visitors. SUNWA TECHNOS (Taiwan), for instance, will showcase Blackjack 21 interactive games, combining robotics and industrial PC technologies to allow visitors to enjoy reality rivalry with smart technologies. KTR Taiwan has issued battle invitations to challenge the limits of visitors’ ability in assembling couplings. In addition, many companies including ABB, Advantech, Taiwan Oriental Motor, and igus Taiwan will offer small-size lectures, guided tour of booths and interactive games to highlight the concept of smart manufacturing plant through actual interactions.

Industry, Academia Collaborate to Stage over 30 Seminars and New-product Presentations

This year, the smart manufacturing plant series forums organized by DIGITIMES will, for the first time, be held alongside the Taipei Int’l Industrial Automation Exhibition, inviting renowned industrial speakers and professionals in hotly-discussed assistive manufacturing sectors to shed lights on how to grasp the “new manufacturing” opportunities. In addition, many exhibitors will also sponsor seminars during the show. SOLOMON, for instance, will sponsor three-day virtuality and reality integration series seminars; SIEMENS will invite prestigious German businesses to speak at seminars on smart manufacturing; Mitsubishi Electric, Rockwell Automation Taiwan, and PRECITEC will also give lectures to highlight their own product advantages and prowess.

In line with the mounting global green awareness, the Taipei Int’l Industrial Automation Exhibition will implement an electronic entry admission system to reduce the use of paper. Visitors are advised to register online in advance, so that they can quickly enter the fairgrounds by showing admission codes on their smartphones, thus reducing the time queuing for filing entry applications on site.
