GigaSpaces’ InsightEdge In-Memory Analytics Platform Achieves Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification

NEW YORK. GigaSpaces’ InsightEdge real-time in-memory analytics platform has achieved Red Hat Open Shift Operator Certification. Based on Kubernetes container cluster management, OpenShift provides public cloud, on-premise, and hybrid infrastructure for migrating analytics and machine learning applications built with platforms like InsightEdge towards agile microservices architectures.

InsightEdge users can download the OpenShift Operator from Red Hat’s Container Catalog, allowing them to take advantage of the scalable transactional processing and data acceleration resources for time-critical applications like machine learning. Pre-defined filters allow data to be replicated efficiently across containers, including data changes, customized aggregations, and compression. Data is encrypted and anonymized in transit to help support data privacy initiatives.

Combining the cloud-agnostic OpenShift solution with GigaSpaces’ multi-region cloud replication module also helps users optimize bandwidth and minimize data transfer costs between regions and cloud providers.
