Kyocera Releases 5655 Series Board-to-Board Connectors

Stacking height of just 4mm supports applications in limited spaces.

Kyocera Corporation’s new 5655 Series electronic Board-to-Board connectors are enhanced for high-speed data transmission, featuring a 0.5mm-pitch and a record-setting low stacking height of 4mm.

Kyocera will be appearing at electronica India 2019 from September 25 through 27 in Delhi, India in Hall 11, Booth #EG01 to showcase the new connectors.

The connectors include a proprietary floating structure adjusted for high-speed data transmission and are available in larger dimensions to fulfill more design requirements.

The connectors’ mold structure curtails the occurrence of breakage when connecting or disconnecting to guarantee durability and can be employed in advanced equipment such as millimeter-wave radar and LiDAR to sense vehicles and pedestrians, e-mirrors, navigation systems, and driver monitoring cameras.
