Kudelski Group announced the integration of its IoT Security Platform with the GSMA’s IoT SAFE capability (IoT SIM Applet for secure end-to-end communication). The integration will enable IoT device manufacturers and IoT service providers to leverage the SIM as a scalable and standardized hardware Root of Trust to protect IoT data communications.
The integration of the security platform supports key features of the GSMA guideline and specification, supporting both pre-shared keys and PKI implementations. Kudelski’s platform will provision the SIM with long-term secret keys and manage the lifecycle of security credentials. The group will enable remote management functionalities and cloud platform onboarding; authorization of premium device features; remote attestation, and more.
The Kudelski IoT Security Platform provides end-to-end protection from silicon to cloud for IoT devices It provides device security, data security, access management, and active security to safeguard the entire product lifecycle.
