GLF Integrated Power introduced the GLF74130 input Power Mux IC, which offers improved efficiency over traditional diode-based solutions. The 1.27 mm x 1.67 mm wafer-level chipscale-packaged (WLCSP) Mux provides automatic/manual selection between two 1.5V to 5.5V input power sources with up to 4.5A continuous output current.

Features include a RON of 20 mOhms, a supply current of 4 µA, and a standby current of 50 nA. The GLF74130 supports both automatic and manual selection of power input, and also has an ESD withstand capability of 6kV HBM and 2kV CDM. The device is available from $0.29 in OEM quantities, with a lead Time of six weeks, ARO.
