Excelfore to Work with Baidu on eSync Platform for Apollo Autonomous Driving Project

Fremont, CA. Baidu has chosen to work with Excelfore to provide Over-The-Air (OTA) updates and data assembly for its eSync platform on its Apollo Project. 

The Apollo Project will provide a reliable and secure software platform for those creating autonomous driving systems sans the demand for duplicated code and development effort. The project’s global partners include BMW, Bosch, BYD, Daimler AG, Delphi, Dongfeng, FAW, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Intel, Microsoft, Nvidia, Volkswagen China and ZTE.

The eSync platform uses a server-client-agent architecture to manufacture a secure bi-directional data pipeline that connects the cloud and a variety electronic end devices in a vehicle, updating software and firmware OTA, collecting real-time operating data from any of the end devices in the vehicle.
