Digi International launched its family of Digi Connect IT serial consoles including Digi Connect IT Mini, Digi Connect IT 4, Digi Connect IT 16 and Digi Connect IT 48, conducive for connecting remote IT devices in the data center or to customer premises equipment.

The Digi Connect IT family supports scalable, equipment- and network-agnostic, console multi-port-based solutions that provide simple infrastructure management and uninterrupted uptime no matter what kind of physical hardware or network is employed, allowing users to zero in on planning and improvement.

The Digi Connect IT family set includes access to Digi Foundations featuring 24/7 expert support, a limited lifetime warranty, access to essential application and software libraries, and device management with Digi Remote Manager® (DRM).

“The modern IT management landscape presents operators with complex and intersecting challenges,” said Digi International’s, VP of Product, Scott Nelson. “They’re contending with different generations of hardware from various vendors running on any number of operating systems, stagnant head count despite this increasingly complicated infrastructure, and continually increasing compliance requirements that require constant uptime in both centralized and small, highly distributed locations.”
