Harwin Releases New Industrial Board-to-Board Connector Series, Archer Kontrol

Harwin released the Archer Kontrol series of industrial board-to-board connectors. The connectors can withstand 20G of vibration, making them suitable in automation and mechanized processes.

Harwin released the Archer Kontrol series of industrial board-to-board connectors. The connectors can withstand 20G of vibration, making them suitable in automation and mechanized processes.

Due to the connectors chamfered front edges, blind mating has been simplified. It allows up to 0.7mm offset. The connectors can also stand up to 500 mating cycles because of the gold-plated, phosphor bronze contact areas. Additionally, the operating temperatures of the connectors can reach 125°C.

Features of the Archer Kontrol series:

  • Pin counts of 12 to 80 contacts
  • Board-to-board spacing of 8mm to 20 mm
  • Edge-to-edge co-planar
  • 1.2A current per contact support

According to the company, it is helping to maintain system responsiveness and minimize downtime by combining 3Gbits/s data rate with mechanical robustness.
