Adesto's SmartServer IoT Edge Server Platform to Improve Energy Consumption

Adesto's SmartServer IoT edge server platform is a controlled, cloud-hosted service designed to obtain the most amount of value from IoT devices with the least amount of energy consumption.

SANTA CLARA, CA. Adesto's SmartServer IoT edge server platform is a controlled, cloud-hosted service designed to obtain the most amount of value from IoT devices with the least amount of energy consumption. It features built-in device and data management for sensors, meters, actuators and controllers in buildings through evolving and traditional protocols including BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, and others.

The platform will allow organizations to obtain and survey data for devices, equipment, and machines, and determine ways to make better decisions. IBM Tririga Building Insights is based upon the Watson IoT Platform and uses AI analytics to discover building inefficiencies sans the need for dedicated data scientists.

Combining the IBM Watson IoT platform with Adesto's SmartServer IoT can help facility managers gain a better understand of energy consumption and other operational aspects of a building.

"For building operators and facilities managers, it's incredibly important to keep costs and energy consumption to a minimum," said Alan Slabodkin, Western Allied Corporation’s vice president. "Using the new web services capabilities in Adesto's SmartServer IoT, our customers can connect their systems to cloud services like IBM Watson IoT to gain a deeper understanding of their operations, leading to increased efficiencies and potentially significantly impacting their bottom line."

Adesto will be attending the AHR Expo, booth C5234 in Atlanta, January 14-16, 2019, and also embedded world, booth 4A:124, February 26-28, 2019 in Nuremberg, Germany.
