Pre-college education differs greatly in the U.S., depending on where you live and how much you’re willing to pay. By the same token, college education also varies greatly, again by how much you’re willing to pay, but also by how much you’re willing to invest non-monetarily. I discussed this topic with Ray Zinn, the former CEO of Micrel, in his weekly spot. Ray has first-hand experience is various aspects of this topic, having hired lots of people from all walks of life, and also from raising kids and grandkids.
