Five Minutes With… Ken Caviasca, VP/GM, Intel’s IoT Group

April 15, 2016
Intel is making a big push into IoT, a really big push. That tells me that IoT isn’t simply a fad, but something that’s going to be with us for a long time. To understand the reasons why that’s the case, I spent five minutes with Ken Caviasca, the vice-president and general manager of Intel’s IoT group. Ken is a long-time Intel employee, long enough to remember when the likes of Andy Grove, Gordon Moore, and Robert Noyce were wandering the halls. So while I had Ken on the phone, we had a great discussion about what it was like to work at Intel in those early days.
