Diversity, flexibility, and software drive IoT gateway designs

On the IoT Roadshow, Embedded Computing Design Technology Editor Brandon Lewis made his way to the Advantech offices in Silicon Valley, where Cliff Moon, the company's IoT Program Manager, explained how his company approaches the diverse requirements of IoT gateway designers. Outside of a wide-ranging portfolio of hardware platforms for gateway development, Cliff acknowledges the growing importance of time-to-market in the fast-paced IoT space and discusses Advantech's efforts in middleware, software, and cloud platforms.
