Silex Technology, Inc. and Silex Technology America, Inc. have been selected to join Atheros Communications’ Authorized Design Center (AADC) program. Silex Technology has been using the Atheros wireless chip technology for the past five years. The relationship with Atheros has expanded to provide customers in Japan and the United States with enhanced support through Silex’s engineering teams for embedded wireless implementations.
The partnership enables more companies to have support for the popular Atheros wireless chips as the demand for wireless connectivity grows and the number of customers requesting implementation help increases. As an AADC, Silex will assist mid-sized and small companies that need various levels of wireless technology implementation support. Silex will further invest in expanding its knowledge of Atheros technology to provide customers in both the United States and Japan with expert design advice when considering the implementation of wireless technology.
