The position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing has been accepted by Robert M. Sturgill to enhance Meritec’s Sales Team. Reporting to Jack Venaleck, CEO, Mr. Sturgill’s impetus will be the continued strategic business growth of The Company.

Sturgill holds a Masters of Science from Carnegie Mellon in Optical Signal Processing and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Cincinnati, as well as one issued patent. He is also a distinguished speaker at Networld+Interop, AdvancedTCA[] Summit and Gigabit Ethernet Conferences. Over his 24-year career, Rob Sturgill was Chairman, CEO and President of Enigma Semiconductor and held various executive sales, marketing and engineering posts at Vitesse Semiconductor, Cadence Design Systems, NEC Electronics, Motorola and Intel.
