Dan becomes the newest member of MontaVista’s executive team, reporting directly to CEO Rusty Harris. He assumes responsibility for the company’s global marketing strategy including Product Marketing, Product Management, Marketing Communications, Partner Marketing, and web/eBusiness.
Dan has been an active speaker and advocate for embedded Linux and active in multiple industry organizations. He currently serves as Chairman of the Linux Foundation Carrier Grade Linux Workgroup and as a member of the GENIVI and SCOPE Alliances. With more than 18 years of experience in the embedded software and telecommunications industry, Dan has a broad industry view into the demands and needs of developers and customers.
