Mocana TrustCenter and TrustPoint Bring IoT Security to Brownfield Industrial

SUNNYVALE, CA. Mocana has announced its TrustCenter and TrustPoint security solutions. The offerings provide device-based authentication and encryption for for legacy systems and industrial equipment.

TrustCenter and TrustPoint help industrial IoT (IIoT) companies:

  • Implement device authentication, key and certificate management, and user access controls
  • Patch devices and workstations running unsupported operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8
  • Secure legacy industrial protocols such as Distributed Network Protocol v. 3 (DNP3)
  • Enable secure remote firmware updates

The solutions are intended for use by application developers with limited security experience as well as security engineers with significant knowledge of cryptography. The endpoint security solutions are currently designed into more than 70 chipsets and 30 operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and real-time OSs.
