Learn how to power your Industrial Internet of Things application

June 19, 2017 OpenSystems Media

Learn the best way to power your Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) application in day three of Embedded University’s three-day series, Powering the Industrial Internet of Things, taking place Thursday, June 22 at 11 a.m. EDT.

The IIoT typically has much more stringent requirements than the Internet of Things (IoT). That’s because the IIoT usually involves some sort of manufacturing, robotics, or other mission-critical application, where down-time can be measured in dollars – lots of them. This class, led by Charles J. Lord, PE, President and Chief Trainer at Blue Ridge Advanced Design and Automation, will cover FPGA power and design considerations for high-speed RS-485 data links.
