Vicor has released the PI354x-00-BGIZ 48V ZVS Buck Regulator in a BGA package option. Part of the company’s “Cool-Power” portfolio, the PI354x-00-BGIZ enables a consistent 48V direct to point of load (PoL) conversion.

PI354x-00-BGIZ devices operate from 36Vin to 60Vin while regulating output voltages from 2.2V to 14V and delivering ouput currents up to 10A.

Engineers can also use step-down regulation from higher voltage sources to deploy efficient power distribution architectures, reduce I2R losses, and eliminate conversion stages in high voltage distribution applications such as data centers, network infrastructure, industrial, and lighting.
