In the IIoT, more/better data leads to better decisions

Is it me, or does Red Hat seem to fly under the radar? The company has great technology, but they’re quite humble. Here’s an example: I came across this whitepaper recently called Intelligent Gateways for the IoT. It focuses on the Industrial IoT (IIoT), and it provides lots of great information for developers. I feel it’s my duty to make this whitepaper known to you, especially for those industrial IoT developers.

In a nutshell, the IIoT is bringing us a host of intelligent applications, things that need to be monitored and analyzed. Going one more step, in many (most?) cases, some sort of action needs to be taken based on that data. That’s where Red Hat and its software tools really shine. By intelligently gathering and analyzing massive amounts of data, smart systems can optimize the industrial control processes, and improve productivity, thereby resulting in better decision making.
