Monnit is a newer player in the IoT space. They claim to "touch the things," as they provide low-cost wireless sensors. We discussed the evolution ios standards, and whether they're good for the advancement of technology or not. Bluetooth? Yes. ZigBee? No. Standards for vertical markets? You bet. Segmentation also needs to occur, to keep consumers separate from the enterprise, which needs to be kept separate from the industrial platforms.
