Giving your “things” on the Internet an identity makes life much easier, especially if you’re not in the immediate vicinity of those thigs. For example, if a thermostat needs repair, and you have hundreds of thermostats on your network, it would be great to know where exactly that thermostat resides. This is feature that’s given to the IoT by ContinuumBridge. In this week’s Five Minutes with…discussion, the company’s CEO, Peter Claydon, explained how that works, and how it nicely extends itself to industrial applications.

Richard Nass’ key responsibilities include setting the direction for all aspects of OSM’s ECD portfolio, including digital, print, and live events.
