Have you used your smartphone to do any shopping this holiday season?In the interest of engineering data … the folks at Keynote sent over what they track on online performance for electronics retailers. Their automated testing makes some 12 second page completion assumptions. Does that hold up on a smartphone, where mobile sites are optimized for a more focused user experience but things like a choppy 3G network can stand in the way?Smartphones are the future and real browsers are making things easier. In fact, we’re starting to offer 2D barcoding here as a way to facilitate smartphone users getting information faster. Just curious what people think of the trends. Happy Holidays, everyone.
